Dr. Charles Brenner is the world’s leading authority on nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, NAD+, the central catalyst of metabolism. In 2004, Dr. Brenner discovered the vitamin activity of NR, the key ingredient in NR Lab's skincare products. He also developed the field of quantitative targeted NAD+ metabolomics and identified many conditions of metabolic stress that disturb the NAD+ system. Through his work, NR was developed into a safety-tested new dietary ingredient and a candidate active pharmaceutical ingredient that is being tested in nearly 80 clinical trials globally. Dr. Brenner hails from Boston, earned his PhD at Stanford University, and has held faculty positions at Thomas Jefferson University, Dartmouth College, University of Iowa, where he was the head of Biochemistry, and is now the inaugural Alfred E. Mann Family Foundation Chair of Diabetes and Cancer Metabolism at City of Hope in Los Angeles.

WHAT IS NAD+?

NAD+ decreases in the aging process metabolism.
The human body is made up of 37.2 trillion cells, and they form the tissues and organs of the human body. To maintain a healthy body, it is necessary to supply continuous cellular energy for the cell creation, healing and defense.

NAD+ is a crucial coenzyme for this process.

A decrease in NAD+ accelerates aging by weakening the body’s cellular functions. NAD+ decreases by more than 50% between the age of 40 and 60, and diminishes even further due to overeating, sleep deprivation, and stress from the external environment.

WHAT IS NR?

The Elixir of Life in the Modern Times that stops human aging like never before Charles Brenner, Ph.D. discovered NR (Nicotinamide Riboside) for the first time.

NR is the most effective and important substance in making NAD+. NR is an oxidation-reductase enzyme that’s involved in various metabolic processes in the body in the form of activated vitamin B3. We cannot obtain the sufficient amount of NR we need through food intake alone. Especially for those in the age group when the amount of NAD+ begins to decline rapidly,
Sufficient amounts of NR must be replenished.
